Do I need an HS code before using the tool?
No. You can leave the HS code blank or enter a reference code if known. Any HS classification must be confirmed before shipment.
Are the generated documents ready for customs submission?
They are draft documents only. Review every field and confirm final document requirements with your freight forwarder, customs broker or relevant authority.
Can I use the calculation for a freight quote?
Yes, the totals can help you prepare a clearer quote request, but final freight charges and chargeable weight rules must be confirmed by the carrier or forwarder.
